Fulfillment

E-Commerce can cause your company to fall behind, allow us to help you keep up. With EDI integration, orders can flow directly to our system. From there, our customized pick and pack system expedites the order building process all while eliminating the risk of human error in the removal process. Thorough efficiency and accuracy will keep your customers satisfied resulting in timely repeatable orders.

Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI)

Managing inventory through VMI can eliminate the worry of running out of product. AST Logistics understands how important VMI is to the customer and the vendor, and is able to react and deliver at a moments notice.

The most integral aspect of a VMI relationship is maintaining open communication between customer and supplier. Our warehouse management system and administrators will provide immediate detailed information for any inquiries that may arise.

With our fleet of trucks, trailers, and local drivers who are available around the clock, your product will always be prioritized and delivered well on time, keeping your inventory stocked and your product lines moving.

Our expedient response time will help eliminate supply chain inefficiencies such as overstocking and product shortages.

AST Logistics has multiple food grade warehouse locations in the Mount Pleasant and Oak Creek, Wisconsin area including our main location conveniently off of I-94 in Oak Creek. AST provides a variety of warehousing and distribution options including a team of local drivers that can adequately transport your product in a local capacity.

Food Product Safety

With regulations for storing and handling food products, companies need to ensure the safety and integrity of inventory throughout the supply chain. When it comes to food safety, AST Logistics takes pride in going the extra mile to provide the peace of mind that your food product is safe in our hands. 

Our full time Compliance Director keeps on top of the ever changing regulations of the food industry and monitors our process throughout the year to enforce proper food safety practices.

Some of steps that are taken to ensure safety for your product are:

• All food grade warehouses are certified by AIB International.

• Thorough Daily cleaning

• Traceability and Mock Recall exercises conducted

• Daily, weekly, and monthly Self Audits

• Food safety training materials provided by AIB International.

• Written procedure audits are completed to ensure the procedures are being followed as training dictates.

INVENTORY MANAGEMENT

Our customizable warehouse management system can be advantageous for our customers. All requests can be met by our WMS and administrators, whether it be daily inventory reports or backlogging any product that has passed through our warehouse at any time.

Our systems traceability will locate an item and show when and where it went by the pallet, carton, or piece level in minutes. Information can be pulled by tracking number, best buy date, lot number, date received, or any data specified by our customers.

We have the ability to fine tune our inventory reports in a manner that suits every situation. Any data can be provided in a format that meets the requested essential information.

Our system will automatically allocate product to be removed from our warehouse by the FIFO method, ensuring your food grade product will always be rotated out of our facility accurately.
